**BULLETIN**
Silver Ridge Music Festivals, the company which created and manages Mountain Country Music Festival issued a press release on Thursdsay,
May 1st announcing that both the country festival in June and the rock festival in July have been postponed indefinitely due to economic conditions in our region.
Any questions you may have regarding tickets or camp sites already purchased should be directed directly to the Mountain Country Fest offices by calling 1-800-515-1780.
We will continue to bring you up-to-date information as we get it.
**UPDATE**
Below is a note from the management at Silver Ridge Music Festivals sent to media outlets on Friday, May 2nd.
"The 2008 Mt Country Music and Mountain Rock Festival has been postponed for this season. All of us at Silver Ridge are committed to restructuring the financial affairs of our venue just as soon as possible.
We believe at this point in time it will take a minimum of at least 60 days.....possibly more.
"We understand this is a frustrating experience for vendors and ticketholders alike.
The management of Silver Ridge is committed on a bi-weekly basis in providing updates to the general public as to how this process is proceeding.
"We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and ask for your continued cooperation and patience as we work through this process."
