Bio:
I started in radio when I was 16, making this year my 31st in the radio business!  I think when I was a teenager, I was always intrigued with on-air personalities, or Disc-Jockeys as they called them in the 70's.

Even though I started in radio in Detroit part-time when I was 16, I quickly moved out of the area to work full time.  That took me to Pennsylvania for nearly 10 years before I moved back to the Detroit area.  I've worked in Ypsilanti, Ann Arbor and Detroit, Michigan.  I've also worked in Springfield, Illinois before heading to Saginaw, where I've been for 2 1/2 years.

Being in radio keeps me single, but I have a great niece and nephew who live in Ann Arbor.  While I live in an apartment, I love HGTV.  I have no idea why!  I love old architecture and old homes, which probably explains the HGTV thing.

When I get the time, I love to go to Toronto and Chicago.  I also love Miami, Florida and actually see myself retiring there, just like every other Italian in my family.

Scott's Blog:
Well, finally I get to Blog! I feel like someone important (sniff) thank you, thank you all!

It's been great getting to know the afternoon listeners on the Moose.  Even though I've been running around to Moose events for a couple of years, it's nice to chat with a lot of you on the phone.  I try to bring a little humor to your day since we're all working our way through the afternoon!  One of my favorite things is "Triple Crown Trivia."  Yes, I make up the questions each day and contrary to what
some people think, I don't make up the answers!

Notice Joby put some pictures of me on here.  Take special note of the one in the Moose studio with the caption "Hey, anybody know how to work this thing."  Look over my shoulder at the picture of Joby staring back at me!!  How would you like to have to stare at THAT mug all afternoon?  No wonder I need a beer when I get home!

Ok, this might sound like a repeat of Joby's blog, but I went to a couple of movies last weekend, "Vacancy" and "Disturbia."  I won't say where because that part is not important.  During the entire run of Disturbia, kids were running up and down the theatre aisles in and out of the theatre and nobody said anything except the occasional SHHHHHHH.  My question is:

WHERE WERE THE PARENTS?

Do you know how your kids behave when they are out?  Fun is fun, but wow, this was out of control!  Ok, I feel better now!  See ya at the movies!

Ok, enough is enough with the gas prices people! I say people because we really don't know who's in charge do we?  Coming to the station today I noticed that Regular unleaded is $3.65 and Premium is $3.75.  Happy traveling this Memorial Day!

What makes me so mad about this whole gas price thing is the fact that the oil companies think we are completely oblivious to this scam! They say there are refinery problems, shortages...blah, blah, blah.  If that's the case, shouldn't EVERY place in the country be seeing high prices and shouldn't the prices be around the same?

Maybe it's just me being stupid, but I am not sure how we can be around $3.65 in Moose Country, yet it's $3.99 in Chicago and ONLY $2.65 in North Carolina?  Someone care to explain that?  Hello, Mr. Oil Company Man, are you there?  Guess not!

Oh well, just another little rant from Scott Bradley!  Thanks for listening to the Moose!

05/29/07

Ok, I went to see "Shreck 3" over the weekend.  Oh my God, even the kids weren't laughing! Someone at these movie companies needs to start paying attention to their audience!

I did rent a great movie last night if you don't mind a little religion thrown at you.  It's called "The Last Sin Eater."  Rent it, you might be surprised.  Couple of well-known people in it.  Louise Fletcher and Henry Thomas (The kid from E.T.) he's all grown up now.  Good story.  Directed by Michael Landon Jr.

I hung out at William's KIA in Traverse City on Saturday.  I always meet some Moose listeners on their way up north.  Plus, the guys up there are very friendly!

Pretty nice weekend overall. Got some sleep (Yeah!)
